P2P on servers

is it necessary to have p2p on on the servers? some of us have slow internet and 21 players all exchanging car skins with me definitely can't be helping.

i know i could turn it off myself in my own settings, but it's remembering to keep switching it and i'm sure other people might forget too?!

Loop just said something about it on the server now, i think i can do it but let's wait until tomorrow so i can ask him more directly. If i do something wrong he will kill me! xD

But i agree it's not necessary. And if that makes the connection of the server users faster it should be turned off.

you guys are doing a great job - in my humble opinion

had a lovely day where my game wasn't trying to download anything (server ran so much smoother for me)

now it's downloading other car skins again... thought we were having p2p off?

mmmm either there are other ways to disable p2p and i didn't find those, or
you also have to disable p2p into your player profile.
how? mmmm let me remember...

i will turn off my own for the time being, but i do wonder if other people swapping files will affect my server experience?
