So TM2 is officially launched

It sucks it launched when it did, I'll have to wait a couple of days before I buy it, but it gives me a chance to ask you guys about it.

What's changed from TMNF?  I figure the official release would bring in a slew of new features and it wouldn't just be the stuff in beta.

I really dunno what changed, behalf of the payment ....

It has new blocks where you can build with. For the rest I would hav eno idea.

- New 65 track campaign
-a new lighting engine
-20 new blocks
-damage model for custom cars
-the possibility to import 3d objects in maps (a 3d object is like a block, but created by the community)
-a new track and replay editor
-many more new tools provided by ManiaPlanet, including a script editor for custom game modes.
-fully supported with future updates

And an engine sound error for me.... I CAN'T HEAR MY FUCKING CAR................ It's too damn low the sound... can't get it up. But only when i enter a server. On the Menu of the game, without logging into any server, i can move the sound up and down and it's perfect... SOMETHING IS HAPPENING!

There is a known problem with Sound set to "High quality"!  You can try setting it do "Normal quality" in the launcher.

And what i tried is: launch the game without STEAM, it started an update and it worked afterwards.
That is what did it for me

Did they change the reaction of the cars, like steering or anything?

I can't drive properly today, and i want to know if game changed or if it is because my old computer is rubbish

I heard that it become difficulter to drift,
but I didn't notice that ..

Dunno but compared with tm1 it drives a bit different and i like the sunken road as a new block it is dirt and tarmac combined

For me it runs better than TM1, it feels different yes.

The only thing i noticed was that i gained an extra 5000 or 6000 planets
